About Figuro
Figuro is a free collection of everyday calculators covering finance, fitness & health, math, and general-purpose tools. The goal is simple: give people quick, accurate answers to common calculations, along with enough context to actually understand what the number means — not just a bare result.
What we built
Every calculator on this site runs entirely inside your browser using plain JavaScript. Nothing you type is uploaded, logged, or stored on a server — the math happens on your device, and the page works the same whether you're online checking a mortgage payment or offline doing quick unit conversions on a flight.
Beyond the raw number, most calculators on Figuro include a short explanation of how the result was calculated, what the relevant reference ranges are, and what practical limitations apply. Our BMI calculator, for example, doesn't just show a number — it explains the category, the healthy weight range for your height, related measurements like BMI Prime and the Ponderal Index, and general limitations of BMI as a measurement.

Our approach to accuracy
Each calculator uses standard, widely published formulas (for example, the Mifflin-St Jeor equation for BMR, the US Navy method for body fat estimation, or standard amortization formulas for loans). We link the formula used directly in each calculator's explanation section so you can verify the math yourself.
