Processed entirely on your device — files are never uploaded to any server.
Most free PDF tools work by uploading your file to their servers, processing it there, and sending the result back — which means your document, even briefly, sits on someone else's infrastructure. This tool uses in-browser processing instead: the merge happens using your own device's processing power, so your files never leave your computer.
| Tool | Free daily limit |
|---|---|
| Smallpdf | 2 tasks per day |
| iLovePDF | Soft hourly limits |
| Sejda | 3 tasks per hour, 50 pages max |
This tool has no artificial daily task counter — merge as many times as you need.
Are my PDF files uploaded to a server? No. The merge happens entirely inside your browser using your device's own processing power. Your files never leave your computer.
Is there a limit on file size or number of files? There's no artificial daily task limit like many competing tools impose on free users. Practical limits depend on your device's available memory for very large files.
Can I reorder the pages before merging? Yes — use the up and down arrows next to each file to change the order files are combined in before merging.
Will the merged PDF have a watermark? No watermark is added to the output file.
Merging copies the pages of each PDF, in order, into one new document. Text, images and layout on every page are preserved, and the page order inside each original file stays the same. Because the work happens in your browser, even confidential contracts or financial statements never leave your computer.
Will bookmarks or form fields survive? The pages are combined into a clean document. Features that depend on the original file, such as bookmarks or interactive forms, may not carry over, so check the merged file if you rely on them.
Can I sign the merged document? Yes. Open the combined file in Sign PDF to add your signature.
Does merging make the file smaller? No. The merged file is roughly the sum of the originals. To reduce size, compress the source images or scans before building the PDF.
