For PDFs, Merge PDF and Split PDF rearrange whole documents, Sign PDF adds a signature, Watermark Tool stamps text or an image on top, and JPG to PDF and PDF to JPG convert between images and PDF pages.
For images, Image Compressor & Resizer reduces file size and dimensions, Favicon Generator builds site icons, Color Palette Generator pulls the main colors out of a picture, and Image to Text (OCR) reads text from a photo or screenshot.
For writing and web work, Text & Developer Tools covers word counting, case conversion, JSON formatting and Base64, while Meta Tag & Open Graph Generator produces the tags that control how a page appears in search results and social shares. QR Code Generator, Barcode Generator and URL Shortener cover links and codes.
For work documents, Resume Builder and Resume & Job Match Checker help with job applications, Invoice Generator creates a PDF invoice, and Email Signature Generator builds a signature you can paste into your mail client. Speech to Text and Text to Speech handle dictation and read-aloud, Meeting Scheduler sets up a shareable availability poll, and Subscription Cost Calculator shows what your recurring payments add up to over time.
Are my files uploaded to a server when I use the PDF and image tools?
For the PDF, image, OCR, watermark and color tools, processing happens in your browser, so your files stay on your device. Two tools are different by design: the URL Shortener and the Meeting Scheduler need to store a small amount of data on Figuro's server so that short links and polls can be opened by other people.
Do I need an account or a subscription?
No. The tools are free to use and do not require sign-up.
Why does Speech to Text behave differently in different browsers?
Live dictation relies on the speech recognition built into your browser, which is not available in every browser and, in some, is handled by the browser vendor's own service. If it does not work, try a recent version of Chrome or Edge and allow microphone access when asked.
What is the difference between the Resume Builder and the Resume & Job Match Checker?
The Resume Builder helps you write and download a resume as a PDF. The Resume & Job Match Checker compares a resume you already have against a specific job description and shows which keywords are missing, so you can adjust it before applying.
Which tool should I use to turn a scanned page into editable text?
Use Image to Text (OCR) for photos and screenshots of text. If the source is a PDF, first convert its pages with PDF to JPG, then run the images through Image to Text.
