Extract specific pages into a new PDF, or split every page into its own file. Runs entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded. No sign-up, no daily limit, no watermark.

Every page will be saved as its own single-page PDF, delivered together as a ZIP file.
Tools like Smallpdf and iLovePDF process your file on their servers and cap free daily use — Sejda's free tier, for example, limits you to a handful of tasks per hour. Since splitting a PDF is just reorganizing pages that already exist in the file, your own browser can do the whole job locally, so this tool has no daily cap and your document never leaves your device.
| You type | What it extracts |
|---|---|
| 1-3 | Pages 1, 2, and 3 |
| 5 | Just page 5 |
| 1-3, 5, 8-10 | Pages 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 9, and 10 |
Is my PDF uploaded to a server? No — splitting happens entirely inside your browser. Your file never leaves your device.
How do I write a page range? Use commas to separate individual pages and hyphens for ranges, for example: 1-3, 5, 8-10. Page numbers start at 1.
What's the difference between the two modes? "Extract pages" pulls the pages you specify into a single new PDF, keeping their order. "Split into individual pages" creates a separate one-page PDF for every page in the file, delivered together in a ZIP.
Is there a page or file size limit? There's no artificial limit — practical limits depend on your device's available memory for very large files.
| You type | You get |
|---|---|
| 3 | Only page 3 |
| 1-4 | Pages 1, 2, 3 and 4 |
| 1-3, 7 | Pages 1 to 3, then page 7 |
| 2, 5-6, 10 | Page 2, pages 5 and 6, and page 10 |
Separate each item with a comma. Pages are placed in the new file in the order you list them.
Use extraction when you want one new document containing a chosen set of pages. Use individual pages when each page needs to stand alone, for example separate invoices scanned in one go. The individual files are delivered in a single ZIP, so remember to unzip before sharing them. If you later need the pages back in one document, Merge PDF will join them again.
Will the original PDF be changed? No. The tool creates new files and leaves your original untouched.
Can I reorder pages while extracting? Yes, pages appear in the order you type them, so listing 5, 1-2 places page 5 first.
Why do I get an error for a page number? The number is probably higher than the number of pages in the document, or the range is written incorrectly. Check the page count and use commas and hyphens only.
